Ameyaxoxo is the moniker under which Ameya Deshpande releases his music. Born and raised in Pune, India, Ameya is now an emerging artist in Philadelphia's vibrant music scene. Ameya’s music combines elements from jazz, metal, rock, post-rock, and alternative genres, creating a unique sonic landscape that appeals to a diverse audience beyond traditional guitar enthusiasts. Ameya's unique approach to songwriting blends technical guitar proficiency—inspired by modern progressive rock—with intricate arrangements for all instruments. Ameya's music is often described as both complex and emotionally resonant. His distinctive style has garnered him a growing fanbase and critical acclaim within the thriving Philadelphia music community.

His EP, Turill, is his second fully realized work to date, featuring a collection of songs that showcase his powerful and impactful songwriting capabilities. The 4-song EP was launched with the breathtaking debut song, “Mango Hibiscus” that Rolling Stone India described as “ If “Mango Hibiscus” is any indication, expect guitar wizardry combined with soulful songwriting, making it an exuberant prog offering that has plenty of repeat value”. The next single, "Foxgloves Amethyst" was featured on the Maed Mixtape, a curated selection by the Maed In India Podcast. The track received notable recognition, being described as "a great travel song."

Ameya has released 2 EPs (Raining Cats - Cat Kamikazee and Turill - Ameyaxoxo) and has shared the stage with bands like AsWeKeepSearching, Zokova, Celestial Teapot, Stuck in November. He has amassed more than 25k listens for his song “Raspberry Ripple” on streaming platforms worldwide. Ameya released a live recording of his EP Turill, recorded live at Oxford Recording Studios featuring Erik Scattareggia on drums. Ameya furthers his musical education by taking lessons with Sanjeev Pandkar (Strange Brew), Jake Howsam Lowe (Helix Nebula and Plini), Keyshav Dhar (Skyharbor), and Sean Reeser (Everything Yes), Elijah Cole, Erik Sayles and Taylor Kelly.
